Pour water up to the right line in the measuring cup, stand up to seven eggs in the tray and press the button. The eggs are cooked with steam, and when the water has gone the cooker switches off and beeps.
The amount of water decides how the eggs come out: less for soft, more for hard. The markings on the cup are for soft, medium and hard, and for one to seven eggs.
The cup has a small pin to pierce the shell so the eggs do not crack. A second tray is included for poaching two eggs or steaming a few vegetables.

I cook for one person, so a whole pan of water for two eggs always felt wasteful. It uses a few spoons of water and switches itself off. Simple and useful.

It works as described and the eggs come out exactly as the chart says. The outer box arrived dented on one corner. What was inside was fine, so four stars.
