What it does in your home
Each box has a water tank in the bottom and a separate layer for the soil. Wicks pull water up to the roots as the plant needs it, so you water less often and the soil does not go from soaked to dry.
Fill the tank through the spout in the corner. A small float shows the water level, so you can see when it is time to top up.
The set has one long box and two short ones, easy to arrange along a railing or a windowsill. The plastic is UV-stable, so it does not go pale in the sun.
