Damp rooms show it: foggy windows in the morning, a musty smell in the wardrobe, washing that takes two days to dry. The dehumidifier pulls the room air over a cold coil, the water drips into the tank and dry air comes out of the top.
Set the humidity you want and it switches on and off by itself. When the 2 litre tank is full it stops and a light comes on; for a cellar you can connect a hose and let it drain continuously.
The laundry mode runs it at full speed to dry clothes on a rack indoors. It moves on small wheels and has a grip on each side.

Quieter than I expected. It stands in the hallway of our ground floor flat and we set it to 55 %. The windows are not wet in the morning any more.

I use the laundry mode to dry clothes inside, much faster now and no damp smell in the flat.
